Classic Australian cookie, as a bar cookie.

Ingredients: [‘rolled oats’, ‘brown sugar’, ‘desiccated coconut’, ‘flour’, ‘baking powder’, ‘salt’, ‘butter’, ‘light corn syrup’, ‘shredded coconut’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“1 cup rolled oats”,”1 cup brown sugar”,”3/4 cup desiccated coconut (unsweetened)”,”1 cup flour”,”3/4 teaspoon baking powder”,”1/4 teaspoon salt”,”1/2 cup butter”,”2 tablespoons light corn syrup”,”1/4 cup shredded coconut”]

Steps: [‘Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a square pan pan. In a large bowl, combine oats, sugar, coconut and sifted flours.’, ‘Heat butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan on low heat for 1-2 minutes, until butter has melted and mixture is well combined.’, ‘Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add butter mixture and combine well.’, ‘Press firmly into prepared pan. Sprinkle with coconut.’, ‘Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden. Sprinkle with coconut.’, ‘Cool completly in pan.
