Baked White Chocolate Cheesecake

From the back of a “Bulla” cream carton.

Ingredients: [‘butter’, ‘shortbread cookies’, ‘cream’, ‘cream cheese’, ‘white chocolate’, ‘eggs’, ‘vanilla’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“100 g butter, melted “,”200 g shortbread cookies, crusehd “,”600 ml cream”,”250 g cream cheese, softened to room temp “,”150 g white chocolate, melted “,”4 eggs”,”2 teaspoons vanilla”]

Number of Servings: 15

Steps: [‘Pre-heat your oven to 140oC.’, ‘Combine the cookie crumbs and butter, press into a 24cm spring form tin & refrigerate until firm.’, ‘Beat the cream cheese until soft and creamy. Gradually beat in the cream, it will go thick and creamy (beat for 3-5 minutes).’, ‘Whisk in the eggs and vanilla.’, ‘Finally fold through the melted chocolate.’, ‘Pour into the base (I pour over the back of a large spoon) and bake in the pre-heated oven for 75 minutes. The center should resemble set jelly.’, ‘Leaven in the oven with the door open until at room temp (could take upto 2 hours).’, ‘Refrigerate until serving time. Can be made upto 2 days ahead of time.’]
