Cheese Scones With Gomashio

I came up with this recipe myself looking for a whole grain cheese scone recipe with some jazz.
You can vary this recipe easily by adding in e.g. sesame seeds, tahini, some herbs, garlic or other add-ins of your choice.

Ingredients: [‘flour’, ‘baking powder’, ‘butter’, ‘gomashio’, ‘milk’, ‘cheese’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“1 1/4 cups whole grain flour”,”1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder”,”30 g butter”,”2 -4 tablespoons gomashio (use more if you really want to taste the sesame in the scones)”,”1/4-1/2 cup milk”,” grated cheese, for sprinkling “]

Number of Servings: 1

Steps: [‘Preheat the oven to 220°C/425°F.’, ‘In a bowl combine flour, gomashio and baking powder. Rub in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.’, ‘Add liquid little by little until a soft, but not sticky dough forms.’, ‘Pat out on a lightly floured surface and cut out scones of desired size ( I use a regular glass for cutting).’, ‘Place on a papaer-lined baking sheet, top with grated cheese and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and baked through.’, ‘Enjoy! :).’]
