Ingredients: [‘unbleached flour’, ‘baking powder’, ‘sugar’, ‘salt’, ‘cream of tartar’, ‘butter’, ‘half-and-half’, ‘half-and-half’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“2 cups unbleached flour”,”4 teaspoons baking powder”,”2 teaspoons sugar”,”1 teaspoon salt”,”1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar”,”1/2 cup cold butter, cut into 1-inch cubes “,”2/3 cup half-and-half, plus “,”2 -3 tablespoons half-and-half”]

Number of Servings: 4

Steps: [‘Preheat oven to 450*. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar in food processor bowl. Add butter and process until mixture resembles cornmeal. Transfer mixture to a bowl and stir in 2/3 cup half-and-half, adding more if dough seems dry. Mix gently and knead 5 or 6 times. Pat out to 1/2 inch thickness on lightly floured board, band cut into round or square biscuits. Bake on parchment-lined cookie sheet for 10 minutes.’]
