Crunchy Birthday Cookies

This recipe was on the inside of a birthday card sent to my daughter back in 1982. My family enjoyed them immensely. Sometimes I would put 1/2 a bag of milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips in them for a nice change. Try them you might like them. 🙂

Ingredients: [‘butter’, ‘brown sugar’, ‘sugar’, ‘egg’, ‘vanilla’, ‘flour’, ‘baking soda’, ‘cinnamon’, ‘salt’, ‘baking powder’, ‘oatmeal’, ‘corn flakes’, ‘coconut’, ‘pecans’, ‘milk chocolate chips’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“1/2 cup butter”,”1/2 cup brown sugar”,”1/2 cup sugar”,”1 egg, well beaten “,”1 teaspoon vanilla”,”1 cup flour”,”1/2 teaspoon baking soda”,”1/4 teaspoon cinnamon”,”1/4 teaspoon salt”,”1/4 teaspoon baking powder”,”1 cup dry oatmeal”,”1 cup corn flakes”,”1/2 cup coconut”,”1/2 cup pecans, chopped “,”6 ounces milk chocolate chips or 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips”]

Steps: [‘Cream butter; add sugars, then egg and vanilla.’, ‘Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.’, ‘Add cornflakes, oatmeal, coconut and pecans to mixture.’, ‘Roll into small balls and place about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.’, ‘Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.’]
