Crock Pot Turkey Lasagna

A turkey variation of recipe Recipe #21706 by Derf. I substitute 1.5 (28 oz) jars of marinara sauce for the onion thru tomato paste ingredients (just because I am SO lazy).

Ingredients: [‘olive oil’, ‘ground turkey’, ‘onion’, ‘garlic cloves’, ‘tomato sauce’, ‘tomato paste’, ‘dried oregano’, ‘low fat cottage cheese’, ‘parmesan cheese’, ‘lasagna noodles’, ‘part-skim mozzarella cheese’, ‘water’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“2 tablespoons olive oil”,”1 lb ground turkey”,”1 onion, chopped “,”2 garlic cloves, smashed “,”1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce”,”1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste”,”1 teaspoon dried oregano”,”12 ounces low fat cottage cheese”,”1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated “,”12 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked “,”16 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded “,”1 1/2 cups water”]

Number of Servings: 8

Steps: [‘Brown ground turkey in olive oil.’, ‘Add tomato sauce (and lots of oregano!) and mix thoroughly.’, ‘Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of the slow cooker.’, ‘Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit) and top with cheeses.’, ‘Repeat with sauce, noodles and cheeses until all are used up.’, ‘Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.’]
