Jiffy Rice Pudding

This is my 93 year old Grandma’s recipe. It is tried and true!

Ingredients: [‘milk’, ‘vanilla pudding mix’, ‘cinnamon’, ‘egg’, ‘minute rice’, ‘raisins’, ‘nutmeg’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“4 cups milk”,”1 (3 ounce) package of jello vanilla pudding mix”,”1/4 teaspoon cinnamon”,”1 egg (beaten)”,”1 cup Minute Rice”,”1/4 cup raisins”,”1/8 teaspoon nutmeg”]

Number of Servings: 4

Steps: [‘Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in saucepan.’, ‘Add rice and raisins.’, ‘Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil.’, ‘Cool 5 minutes.’, ‘Pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl.’, ‘Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.’, ‘Serve warm.’, ‘(for chilled pudding, place plastic wrap over the surface of the hot pudding and refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir before serving).’]
