Mom’s Matzah Kugel

This has been a staple at our Seders for over 50 years. We can’t decide if we like it better right out of the oven or cold the next day!

Ingredients: [‘matzos’, ‘apples’, ‘eggs’, ‘cinnamon’, ‘granulated sugar’, ‘white raisins’, ‘vanilla’, ‘butter’, ‘orange%2c rind of’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“8 matzos”,”4 apples”,”4 eggs”,”2 teaspoons cinnamon”,”1/2 cup granulated sugar”,”1/2 cup white raisins”,”2 teaspoons vanilla”,”1/2 cup butter, melted “,”1 orange, rind of, grated “]

Number of Servings: 12

Steps: [‘Soak matzahs until softened; squeeze well to get out most of the moisture.’, ‘Peel and grate apples in a large bowl. Add matzahs and all other ingreidents.’, ‘Pour into a greased 13×9 inch pan. sprinkle more cinnamon on top.’, ‘Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until browned.’, ‘May be served hot or cold.’]
