Passover Doughnuts

While searching for Passover recipes I came across this one for doughnuts. Who can pass up a doughnut? : ) It sounded interesting enough to share. Because this is my first time making them, the servings indicated are a guess-timate.

Ingredients: [‘water’, ‘sugar’, ‘salt’, ‘oil’, ‘matzo meal’, ‘eggs’, ‘cinnamon-sugar mixture’, ‘nuts’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“2/3 cup water”,”1 tablespoon sugar”,”1/4 teaspoon salt”,”1/2 cup oil”,”1 cup matzo meal”,”3 eggs”,” cinnamon-sugar mixture”,” chopped nuts”]

Number of Servings: 20

Steps: [‘Bring water, salt, sugar and oil to a boil.’, ‘Stir in matzo meal.’, ‘Remove from flame, cool slightly.’, ‘Beat in eggs, one at a time.’, ‘Grease hands and roll dough into balls 2- inches in diameter.’, ‘Sprinkle tops with mixture of sugar and cinnamon (and nuts).’, ‘Dip finger in cold water and press a hole in center of each ball.’, ‘Place on greased cookie sheet.’, ‘Bake at 375 degrees F for one hour.’]
