My adaptation to make a simple, warm and filling family meal.

Ingredients: [‘cooked chicken’, ‘cream of chicken soup’, ‘frozen mixed vegetables’, ‘shredded cheddar cheese’, ‘butter’, ‘milk’, ‘self rising flour’, ‘baking powder’, ‘salt’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“3 cups cubed cooked chicken”,”2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup”,”2 cups frozen mixed vegetables”,”1 cup shredded cheddar cheese”,”1/2 cup melted butter”,”1 cup milk”,”1 cup self rising flour”,”1 teaspoon baking powder”,”1/4 teaspoon salt”]

Number of Servings: 6

Steps: [‘Combine chicken, soup and veggies.’, ‘Pour into greased 9×13 baking dish.’, ‘Combine butter, milk and flour (see note one).’, ‘Pour flour mixture over pot pie mixture.’, ‘Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until crust is golden brown and pie is bubbly.’, ‘NOTE ONE: If you do not have self rising flour, mix all purpose flour with salt and baking powder.’]
