Steps: [‘Peel the onions and pierce each one with a sharp tines of a small fork.’, ‘Cover with salted water and boil for 15 minutes or until tender.’, ‘Drain and dry on a paper towel for thirty minutes, turning occassionally.’, ‘Heat the butter in a skillet. Add the sugar and cook 1 minute.’, ‘Toss the onions in mixture until well coated on all sides.’, ‘Place in a shallow baking-serving dish and bake uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes.
