Easy Fruity Pie

The smell of this Easy Fruity Pie brings you back to summer. Light, fresh and delicious.
During the winter season you can add any kind of frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.). If you prefer sweeter pies, you can also add apricots, peaches or cherries or combine the fruits up to your imagination, even with a banana. Just the way you like your pie!

Ingredients: [‘butter’, ‘superfine sugar’, ‘vanilla sugar’, ‘eggs’, ‘lemon zest’, ‘plain flour’, ‘baking powder’, ‘ground almonds’, ‘milk’, ‘fruit’, ‘plain flour’, ‘superfine sugar’, ‘butter’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“150 g butter, soft in cubes “,”150 g caster superfine sugar”,”1 tablespoon vanilla sugar”,”3 medium eggs”,”1 teaspoon lemon zest”,”300 g plain flour, sifted “,”1 teaspoon baking powder”,”3 tablespoons ground almonds”,”250 ml of lukewarm milk”,”400 g fruit (I use raspberries, strawberries, currants, apricots or bananas)”,”60 g plain flour, sifted “,”2 tablespoons of caster superfine sugar”,”25 g of cold butter”]

Steps: [‘Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.’, ‘Place butter and sugars in a large bowl. Whisk them together well until smooth texture.’, ‘Whisk the eggs into the mix, one at the the time. Continue until foamy and white texture.’, ‘Add lemon zest, flour with baking powder and ground almonds.’, ‘Slowly pour in lukewarm milk and mix well.’, ‘Place the batter into the lightly greased pie form (I used 26cm).’, ‘Generously sprinkle the fruits all over the top.’, ‘In a small bowl place the butter, flour and sugar. Crumble the mix with hands and afterwards cover the fruits with it.’, ‘Put the pie in the oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes until nicely golden.’]
