My great grandmother’s recipe handed down from one generation to the next.

Steps: [‘Meat Sauce: Skillet and slow cooker needed.’, ‘1: Mix sausage and ground beef together evenly and brown in large skillet.’, ‘2: Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, basil, fennel. Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, half the parsley, and the browned meat mixture to a slow cooker.’, ‘3: Cook on low for 1.5 hours stirring occasionally.’, ‘Pre-Heat oven to 375°F.’, ‘Cheeses: 2 bowls needed.’, ‘1: in one bowl combine ricotta, Parmesan, Asiago, remaining parsley, and egg. add milk as needed to get an easily spread cheese paste.’, ‘2: in second bowl combine mozzarella and provolone.’, ‘Assembly: lasagna pan needed.’, ‘1: spread 1.5 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of lasagna pan.’, ‘2: Arrange noodles over meat sauce.’, ‘3: Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture.’, ‘4: Top with half the mozzarella/provolone mix.’, ‘5: repeat 1 – 4.’, ‘Bake.’, ‘1: Cover pan with foil (spray foil with cooking spay to avoid sticking if desired).’, ‘2: Bake for 25 minute.’, ‘3: Remove foil and continue baking for 25 minute.’, ‘Cool 15 min before cutting and serving.’]
