Simple, Low-Fat Banana Muffins

Deliciously moist and extremely simple. I love whipping these together for breakfast. I make my scrambled eggs and sausage while they bake 🙂

Ingredients: [‘whole wheat pastry flour’, ‘baking soda’, ‘baking powder’, ‘salt’, ‘bananas’, ‘egg’, ‘brown sugar’, ‘unsweetened applesauce’, ‘almond extract’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour”,”1 teaspoon baking soda”,”1 teaspoon baking powder”,”1/2 teaspoon salt”,”3 large bananas, mashed “,”1 large egg”,”3/4 cup brown sugar”,”1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce”,”1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract”]

Number of Servings: 8

Steps: [‘preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray muffin tins with nonstick spray.’, ‘Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Combine remaining ingredients and add to dry mixture folding together with a spatula until just combined. Watch the muffins carefully and remove from oven when still slightly moist in the middle.’]
