A Toast to Carrots

Ingredients: [‘carrots’, ‘garlic cloves’, ‘olive oil’, ‘black pepper’, ‘kosher salt’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“10 carrots, peeled and cut in large dice “,”6 garlic cloves, peeled and cut in half “,”2 tablespoons olive oil”,”1/2 teaspoon black pepper”,”1/4 teaspoon kosher salt”]

Number of Servings: 4

Steps: [‘Preheat oven to 425 degrees.’, ‘Place a jelly-roll pan in the oven to preheat.’, ‘Meanwhile, combine the carrots, garlic and oil, tossing to evenly coat.’, ‘Place on the hot pan and roast 17-20 minutes, stirring once halfway through (cooking time may take longer if carrot chunks are large). Carrots will get slightly charred on the outside, that is what you want.’, ‘Transfer to a serving dish and season with salt and pepper.’, ‘Serve warm.’]
