Chili Rellenos

Light and fluffy–an excellent side to any Mexican menu.

Ingredients: [‘eggs’, ‘water’, ‘flour’, ‘whole green chilies’, ‘cheddar cheese’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“3 eggs”,”1 tablespoon water”,”3 tablespoons flour”,”12 ounces canned whole green chilies”,”10 ounces cheddar cheese”]

Number of Servings: 4

Steps: [‘Separate the eggs, beat the whites until stiff then fold in the yolks, water and flour.’, ‘Remove seeds and clean chilies, then stuff with cheese.’, ‘Spoon a portion of the egg mixture (large enough to support a chili) onto a heated frying pan then place a chili on top of the mixture. Then add another portion of egg mixture on top of the chili.’, ‘Brown one side then the other.’]
