Sugar-Free Flavored Tea

3

O.k., lets face it. Some of those flavored diabetic teas are pretty bad and most of the herbal teas aren’t much better….here’s my solution to the problem.

Ingredients: [‘tea bags’, ‘cold water’, ‘artificial sweetener’, ‘extract’, ‘ice’]

Quantity of Ingredients: [“4 regular tea bags or 2 lipton family-size tea bags”,”1 quart cold water”,”1 cup artificial sweetener (I prefer Splenda,or more if you want it sweeter)”,”1/2 teaspoon of desired flavor extract, such as vanilla, peppermint, lemon, raspberry, etc. (more if you want a stronger flavor, but be careful not to use too much)”,” ice, enough to cool a large pitcher tea “]

Number of Servings: 8

Steps: [‘Put water in large pot and bring to a boil.’, ‘Put tea bags in boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.’, ‘Remove pot from heat and stir in the Splenda and extract.’, ‘Pour tea in pitcher or other container and serve immediately over ice or refrigerate.’, “Note: If you’re using an electric tea maker follow manufacturer’s instructions and skip to step 3.”]
